During a 45-minute tour that includes a 25-minute boat ride, explore the cave's diverse and fascinating history as a Native American hunting ground, Civil War campground, hideout for Jesse James, and 1930s nightclub. While pets are not permitted on the boats, leashed dogs are welcome on the 72-acre grounds of nature trails and greenways. SKyPAC's spring schedule includes Million Dollar Time Machine (4/3), a tribute to iconic musical performers such as U2, the Beatles, and Dolly Parton; The Great Gatsby, a jazz-tinged ballet amid stunning sets that recreate the Roaring Twenties; and The Psychology of Dogs (4/24), a live show that takes an in-depth look at the behavior of man's best friend. The Historic RailPark & Train Museum honors the role that railroads played in the growth and economic development of the United States. L&N Depot, once an important stop on the route between Louisville and Nashville, serves as home to the museum. Interactive exhibits feature actual narration from a L&N cook, Pullman porter, and conductor. Climb aboard five restored railcars, including the L&N Presidential car, that are found in the railpark. The attraction is open from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. seven days a week through 12/31. Admission is $12-$18.
- Kentucky Museum - Western Kentucky University, 1444 Kentucky St., Bowling Green, KY 42101
Located on the campus of Western Kentucky University, the Kentucky Museum was established in 1939 as a place for "Kentuckians to know Kentucky." Collections and exhibits turn a spotlight on art works, clothing, political memorabilia, and other artifacts of historical and cultural significance to the community. Current exhibits include Photographing Western (through December 2026), a series of photos documenting scenes around WKU, and Stitches in Time: 200 Years of Kentucky Quilts (through October 2025). Museum hours are 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday and admission is free to the public.
